The SCIAA Middle School Basketball Championship starts Thursday, January 10th and runs through Saturday, January 19th.
This is a historic year as the TMSAA will host it’s inaugural State Basketball Tournament. The SCIAA Championship Tournament is a qualifying tournament for the TMSAA Championships.
Play-in games start Thursday at the higher seed. On Saturday, the area tournament begins with games all across the city.
Barret’s Chapel is hosting Class A, Area 20, Booker T. Washington is hosting Class A, Area 21, and Chickasaw is hosting Class A, Area 22. In Class AA, Dexter is hosting Area 16, Bellevue is hosting Area 17, and Geeter is hosting Area 18. Craigmont is hosting Class AAA, Area 19. A. Maceo Walker is hosting Class AAA, Area 20. Germantown is hosting Class AAA, Area 21.
The Semi-final games will be played at the SCIAA Gym on January 16th & 17th. Then mark your calendars for the SCIAA Middle School Championship to be held at Wooddale High School on January 19th. That is six championship games under one roof beginning at 11:00 am!
